CJ Okumura, PhD, MBA

As the CEO, CJ Okumura is responsible for strategy and directing the company.
Prior to founding Abwiz Bio, CJ held a senior business development leadership position at BioLegend. He was a post doctoral fellow in the Nolan laboratory at Stanford University and in Dr. Hirohisa Saito’s laboratory at the Riken Research Center for Allergy and Immunology. CJ has extensive expertise in immunology, molecular biology and business development.
CJ holds a MBA from UCSD, RADY School of Management, and a DDS and PhD from Tokyo Dental College.
